Group-rating savings on Ohio workers' comp.
Through the Ohio Chamber of Commerce's group rating program, administered by Sedgwick, qualifying employers can earn significant premium discounts — and get expert help navigating Ohio's workers' compensation system.
How the program works
Ohio employers buy workers' compensation through the state fund, and the state's group rating system lets similar employers band together for better pricing — the same pooling idea behind our health program, applied to workers' comp. The Ohio Chamber sponsors a group rating program administered by Sedgwick, a third-party administrator that has helped Ohio employers manage claims and reduce premiums for over 50 years.
Qualifying employers can earn premium discounts of up to 53%,1 and in 2025 participating members realized total premium savings of $4.3 million.1
OCIA's role is simple: we connect you. Tell us you want a savings analysis, and we put you directly with our team at Sedgwick — who handle the analysis, enrollment, and ongoing claims administration. We stay available for questions about Chamber membership or anything else.
Two ways to get your free savings analysis
1. Through OCIA. Request it here and a team member connects you with our Sedgwick contact — and answers any membership questions along the way.
2. Directly with Sedgwick. Ohio Chamber members can complete the request form on Sedgwick's OCIA group-rating page.
